Exciting journey with multiple destinations!
Lockdown has been an extremely scary and uncertain time for us as a nation….Although it has been a time of loneliness and isolation for many people world over it is true to say that it has also been a time of widespread personal reflection and Spiritual growth. We suddenly appreciate the people and things in our lives that we may have taken for granted before this pandemic! Each person finds comfort in their own unique way….for many this might be through prayer and trusting in Gods plan, for others it might be finding a new hobby or persuing a dormant skill set. In a time where nothing is certain, it is important to find positivity where ever we can by way of using this time to better or further ourselves therefore finding light at the end of this dark and scary tunnel. No matter how we cope with the current climate as individuals one thing is a certainty………
We are all in this together!!
For me personally, Lockdown has been a time where I have persued a long lost love of mine-writing! That being said…I would like to introduce myself!!
My name is triona and I am both delighted and honoured to say I was chosen from the 100’s of talented applicants for the title of Lockdown Factor blogger! Myself along with my colleague Laura will also be the journalists behind the Lockdown Factor newsletter, keeping you up to date with all that’s happening behind the scenes, interviews with our contestants, viewers suggestions and so much more!!
It is such a privilege to be involved with such an amazing team on a project that really has endless potential! Everyone behind the scenes at Lockdown Factor have been working tirelessly to produce a unique online talent competition which is beyond compare!
I applied to Lockdown Factor for this position some months ago with no expectations I would make it this far! I have a great love of music coming from a musical background and singing on various shows since I could talk!
I decided to use my spare time during lockdown to further my love of writing and journalism!
At a time when all seems lost, it is important to make the most of the natural gifts and resources we have been given……Maybe ask yourself the question…….
How can I use this unprecedented time to maximise my skills and talents in a way that may prove a light at the end of this dark tunnel??
If it had not been for Lockdown restricting my modelling workload then I wouldn’t have had the time to persue journalism and therefore not been presented with this amazing opportunity from Lockdown Factor!! And so, for me personally……this opportunity is the positive at a time consumed with negative! I am very excited to see where this new found journey will take me and I look forward to meeting some talented people along the way here at Lockdown Factor! Don’t forget to subscribe to our newsletter to be kept up to date from myself and Laura along the way!
Speak to you all soon!
